A local shop quoted $120 for all my windows (except windsheild)... I am going with 20% all around... Just wondering what others paid and if this is a good deal?

 

Well, I paid $70 for just my front two windows at 35% on my xB, so that doesn't sound like a bad deal at all.

 

I just paid $180 today for 10% all around, no windshield, with a four inch sunvisor strip on the front.

I would check what kind of warranty the tint comes with and make sure it's metalized tint. It will fade less over time. Mine also came with a lifetime warranty. $120 sounds like a good deal, but it also sounds like crappy tint to me. I personally thought $180 was a really good deal compared to some of the other very reputable places around here.

Careful with metalized tint. When I worked for Acura we were told to stay away from it because it could interfere with satellite reception for the GPS navigation.

The tint we offered (through an outside tint vendor) was very high quality, but not metalized.

 

dont go to whittier tint shop they suck. they f*&^ed up the 1st time and it feels like they are just trying to get u in and out of their as quick as possible.

but they did only charge me $50 to do the front windows which match the back windows

 

i paid 100 for limo tint on all the windows

 

The tint shop is in Norwalk and my gf's family takes all their cars there, so i know first hand the quality is good with lifetime waranty...

i got mine done their and they charged me $110 out the door. theyre pretty good there and like u said...lifetime warranty

 

i paid 90 bucks to have all my windows except front tinted, at a pro shop too!

 

The also have a shop in Long Beach, that's where I got mine done. 125 I think lifetime warranty. The shop is called Magic Auto Tint, it's on Cherry and 28th Street accross the corner from Best Buy. They did a pretty good job. I got 20% front windows. Recently received a fix it ticket. I have to take them off and show proof. will put back on at 35% this time, to give some contrast between back and front windows.

i paid $80 for the front two windows on my 2008, i just paid $70 for my 2009..front two windows only to match the rear
