Default Tire wear

Tanabe strut bar
Tanabe NF210s
both of those put on with 200 miles on it, now i have 13k miles, tires rotated twice, and 34psi in all tires.

Now i have some tire wear just on the inside of the front tires. any ideas?

Did you get an alignment after you lowered the car? Maybe the camber is a little bit off causing the inner wear.

If it makes you feel any better, the Gen 1 OEM Eagle LS' disintigrated after about 29K...

I don't know if they're using the exact same tires on the Gen 2's, but I had to replace all four of my tires at 33,000 miles because the car was no longer turning the direction the steering wheel was pointed. Which didn't work very well for me - I can't ONLY drive in a straight line just because it's raining.

Now go get your car aligned!

this is scion lowering 101, after installation of lowering springs or adjustible coil-overs, wait one week for the springs to settle, and then go get an alignment, and thus thusly, no unusual tire wear! viola!

I have to take my car in to get the dent fixed and the place I am taking it to can do alignments, so going to get it done the same time.

After I installed my NF springs, it drove straight and didn't pull at all, but I had an alignment done anyway. As it turned out, my front toe was about 3x the outside limit of the specs.

You mean there are people that lower their cars, but don't get an alignment afterwards? Yikes :o! Whenever you change the camber, you change the toe as well -- an alignment is essential!

PS. I installed Pro-Kit springs on my 1990 Eclipse in October and have only this past Monday finally gotten the alignment right! This was in large part due to the left rear toe adjuster being messed up (unbeknownst to me .) Fortunately, after a fair amount of head scratching, wrenching, and a total of three alignments (spelt expensive), all four wheels are now perfect ! (Ignoring front caster, that is .)

What my lill bro failed to mention was the tires were originally on back we think cause he has no real record of them( the Dealer ) actually rotating them, they stamped the book which the dude at counter does but his reciepts dont have anystatement that there were rotated also his air pressure was about 4-5#s low, I myself have made sure that dealer has rotated mine on my car and have done it myself since 25k and lowered my car at 5k and have 36k atm on mine and am a stickler about checking pressure and have no uneven wear and have not had it aligned.

Good for you ! Speaking for myself -- I've had two front tires ruined on a Honda Civic CVCC due to bad toe (not uneven wear so much as rapid wear), and the same for two front tires on a Plymouth Valiant -- both on trips. The six year left rear toe problem on the Eclipse has cost me at least one tire, perhaps two (that corner has been hard on tires) -- I just never thought much about it!

I don't understand why xb2 people assume that they don't need alignments after modifying the suspension.
