I dunno... Cutting the towers is the last resort to get it to lay out. But I think the coilover setup like you have is the best way!

We have nice sunny/cloudy weather, but it's cold.
I'm gonna cut the rear spring top perch off and have my mechanic weld the UAS bag bracket directly onto the frame of the car. That way I can gain 1-2 inches of additional rear drop. MUCH needed.
Also gonna switch out a smaller tire in the back once these Toyo T1R's wear out.
Maybe 235 on my 18x10 instead of my current 255.

I know Randode has been drilling the spot welds out of the rear upper spring perches and bolting the bag straight to the actual unibody frame. It appears that it gets the back down pretty well. The shocks may be collapsed all the way, I'm not sure. You could ditch those in favor of some Toxic Shocks or some DJM units. I've used Toxic Shocks on my fullsize back in the day. Worked pretty well for what they're supposed to do. :D They're pretty much universal, so just measure how far you want them to collapse, and voila! Done!
