Default Which Voltage Stablizer, Sun Auto, Epac or Buddy Club

Does anyone have any experience using the Sun Auto , Epac, or Buddy Club voltage stablizers on the Xb2 ? I'm considering the sun Auto...but at 200 its seems like a ripoff....unless it actually works. I've seen the Epac for 60 bucks. I'm not looking on Ebay..only established companies...heard too many scams coming from Ebay.

I'm just looking to tune the car more...maybe squeak out another 1/2 MPG.

Thanks

If you're just looking to squeak out another 1/2 MPG, then just switch to 0W-20 full synthetic oil if you haven't already done so. My mileage jumped between 1/2 an 1 MPG after the change to 5W-20 full synth, and I know 0W-20 is supposed to give even better mileage.

I plan to do that as soon as I near my 1st oil change. Right now at 1600 miles..so it will be awhile. I have no idea what oil is in the car right now...I doubt the factory put in 0W-20 Synthetic. I hope the dealer will...when I take it in for the 1st free service. I plan to ask for it...even if it costs more.

Indeed. If you want to up the voltage, do the "Big 3" mod, where you replace the Batt->Chassis ground, the Chassis->Engine ground, and the Alt-> Batt pos wire. That will allow more efficiency from the charging system and such. You can use regular welding wire too. Look it up on http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/ Friendly car audio forum.

You already have a device that regulates the vehicle voltage, it is called the alternator.

Or even in the tC forum, since we share the same motor.
