Default What are your best bang for buck mods for your xB?

I want to know what each of you thought was the best value purchase for your xB. That doesn't necessarily mean cheapest. Maybe you spent $3000 on something and was worth every penny and then some. At the same time you could spend 50 bucks on something that isn't worth it's weight in cow manure.

At the same time, is there anything you guys got and regretted or just thought it wasn't worth the time and/or money to put on your car?

Definitely my best bang for the buck is the Tanabe NF210 springs.
Looks better, handles better, and rides better than stock.
That's called a win, WIN, WIN!

I don't know all the turbo lingo, but well over 300hp tells me you'll be building that engine sooner rather than later also.

Header's hp increase should be negligible in reality. I would guess only a few added hp regardless of brand.

What about practical mods and aesthetic mods (aka non-performance mods?) Sound? Lights? Body kits? Wheels? etc.?

From a visual standpoint, wheels & tires will always be your biggest bang for the buck. Personally, I went with the springs as my answer, because they do SO MUCH for so little $$.

Yup!!! I have to say Tanabe NF210 springs around 160 and friend installed and aligned free. Next is the rear spoiler because it gives a straighter look to the rear of the car.

I just purchased my Scion xB 2009 (which came in Wednesday) and I would have to say the Rear Spoiler is right up there with the Scion Nav as being the best bang for my buck.

1. Spoiler just adds to the over all look of my xB (I love it )
2, The Scion Nav is just cool (I've never had a Nav system before and I'm still paying with it learning the ins and outs)

Future plans:
I plan on getting some wheels and tires but I chose the Scion Nav system to get in stead of the tires and rims just because I do drive alot and the tires and rims on my '05 Scion xB got alot of wear on them fast; so I plan on getting some rims and tires which I can change out whenever the mood suits me (soon I hope)

i love my df210s.

and im not sure if i would be able to live without my sound system.

i think the most distinct mod in my xb will have to be the pilot pads.
ive seen positive outcomes left and right with those. loose change doesnt clatter, my cell phone doesnt fly around...its kinda like magic.

Based on what I've seen I would think that the MobileHID's were up there on the value scale.
