It's OK. I was expecting those responses.
If you must know, it's because some dealer web sites are retarded and show the VIN #s for their inventory (and other info like color) but don't say whether it's an auto or stick. No big deal.

I don't have the "2008" page, but here's the 2006 page on Toyota VINs. All you need to do is find one stick and one auto, note which character is in the position that would show drivetrain and you're set.

All 08 xB VINs begin with JTLKE50E, then the check digit (which changes randomly), then 81 (8 = 2008 model year, 1= plant code "1").
So basically they all have JTLKE50E X81 plus the six digit serial number.
Unless the dealer web sites have all the VINs wrong. Which wouldn't surprise me.
