Default XB ASL turning it off

i just put in a new system on my 08 Xb i have the upgraded headunit which is a Pioneer. What i added is Dynaudio Esotar2 650 drivers, Esotar2 110 tweeters, and a Esotar1200 sub, with TRU Technology Billet 4100 amp and TARA Labs cables... problem i am having it the dumb ASL feature on the headunit is making the speakers bottom out when i give the car gas or am on the highway goin over 60 please help disable this!!!

you can turn it off under the options for bass and treble..just keep clicking till it says ASL, and it will give you an option of OFF, LOW, or NORMAL...

no mine only goes low, normal, high no off tried it

It might be in the hidden menu, because i remember mine being off. turn the HU off and hold the menu button for about 5 seconds. dig around in that menu, maybe there is something there.

yeah tried that thought it might be it... can adjust everything but that.

owner's manual?

pioneers are known for turning options off by clicking the **** in for off/on.. and rotating it left and right to adjust the options of on.. try that

The basic headunit allows you to turn off. I have before. Weird that the upgraded one won't allow you to.

yeah according to manual it says it has low medium and high... there has to be some sort of hack or something

I have the upgraded one and was able to turn it off. Like said above, just hold the **** in, dont move it up,down,left, or right. Just simply hold it in, and there you go!

I just read the above. I've also got the upgrade. You push the **** straight in instead left or right. That should turn it off.

When you're in a menu to adjust the settings, there is a picture of the **** and the directions it can be pushed in each mode. The higlighted sections are the directions the **** can be pushed. if the center is highlighted, you can push straight in.
