i've traded in my 08 nb xb for the gold rush 2weeks ago and sold my old ray special 18x7.5 +45 offset about the same time. i've just placed an order for the volk re30 ti 18x8 +42 offset with 235x40x18 tires, i'm just wondering with the hotchkis drop are theres any chance that my tires going to rub and my car bottom out with stock shock? any info would be great thanx in advance.

p.s. it my daily driver and i tend to corner hard with the car

I'm no expert on Hotchkis springs, but based on what I've seen some people get away with on DF210's without rubbing, this is what makes me think you'll be fine:

I was gonna go with the NF's but I wanted a lower stance soooo I said the hell with it and went with the DF's, haha it wasn't a mistake I love them I've had them on for like 3 weeks now and only rubbed once. Not even a hard rub, hardly even noticed, had to ask my girlfriend if the tires rubbed.

the only rubbing i get is in the front due to my 38 offset they look flush but my mistake was to over cut the bumpstop about 3/4" more then suggested 15mm-25mm and all that rubs is the tire on the inside plastic wheel wall no tire damage or rim damage

looking at the #'s it seems like ebiach have the least front drop but i just don't understand why hotchkis consider their spring as moderate while df210 and sportline is consider as xtrem.
say if i would go with the sportline will i have the problem mention previously?

I like how mine rides. I had a friend with me and I asked her if it felt bouncy or anything. She told me that it felt like it rode better than her Matrix...

thanx for answering my question. i'm still deciding if i get this the hotchkis or the eibac sportlines. still haven't made up my mind yet. do any of you with this setup ever rode on the eibac sportline before coz i'm still comparing these two springs setup. i really like both setup thats why i'm having problems deciding which one to get. kind of driving me nuts sometime. i just want to make the right choose.
is this more firm than the eibac ones?
thanx again for the replys i really appreciate it.

I'm not sure about the Eibach's. I'm on stock shocks. The TRD's are over priced IMO. I'll wait until KYB makes a good strut/shock and go to town.

I really recommend getting the springs and sways from Hotchkis. I'm really happy with how my car feels.

Nice.

For anyone interested - I'm selling my Hotchkis springs soon - I'm gonna be getting air suspension for my car.

PM me if you're interested. Less than 2000 miles on the springs. I'll hook you up with a discounted price.
