ABS Speed Sensor
Hello, My wife had a tire blow out and it severed the ABS Speed Sensor cable which threw on the ABS and Trac Control light. I replaced the ABS Speed Sensor but the lights are still on. Anyone have ideas? Do the lights need to be reset? Thank you all.

Yes, it's possible the light needs to be reset. The light will return if the new sensor fails the next test.
If the light returns, you could inspect the socket that your new sensor plugs into. Bent pins and or debris will need to be straightened and or cleaned, then reconnected. You can also check the sensor end of the cable, in addition to hole it install into. Clean any mud or debris that may have scraped up during the blowout.

After I replace a cut speed sensor wire on the front left wheel, the system reset after driving over 7-10 mph.
It may be possible that another sensor is not reading, or the new one is not working right
