Default Which sway bar for xB2 ???

The only options I have come across is the TRD Rear Sway Bar for $223 and the Hotchkis Sway Bar Set for $247.

Why does TRD just offer the rear, but Hotchkis is a set? Does anyone know which of these I should go with, or if there are any other options out there, or better pricing?

Thanks for any input

Get the hotchkis, the new TRD sway bar is way over priced. If you can find the older TRD sway bar I'd go with that one also. Works great on my xb2

Apparently, the front Hotchkis Sway bar has a bit of understeer. I haven't noticed it much, but I really like how they made and their history.

The front is a bit of a pain in the @$$. If your mechically inclined with suspension, go for the hotchkis, if not, buy the hotchkis set, and sell the front sway bar. The rear is a piece of cake.

Go with Hotchkis. Better value for both bars. Proven reliable performance.

I've had mine on for almost two years, still works like champ. There have been reports of trd sway bars cracking, nothing a simple re-welding can't fix.

Did it spilt at the tap where the sway bar bolts to the shock? If so its a simple fix. Why would u need to powder coat it again? Spray some paint on the repaired spot and move on, its not like itll be visible since its underneath the vehicle (plus the dirt that will accumilate on it). Not that big of a deal...

I just don't like to do things that way. if it is powder coated then I don't want to spray paint it.

well, I just got home. I was talking with the Service MGR and he sent an email to the regional office up in Portland, Oregon. since the car is still under the 36,000 mile factory warranty they are going to try and get it covered. ALONG with my 4in1 under dash illumination that isn't working.. they told me that they should get a response by tomorrow.

I recently purchased and installed the TRD Sway bar. Not sure how many versions of this sway bar exist, but there are at least two. I bought the version that comes with two links. Installation was a piece of cake and it does help with body roll.
