Default TRD Sway Bar don't work?

I recently got a trd rear sway bar installed at the dealership along with the other additions I got and I have to say that i dont really feel the difference. Maybe it's cuz I never got accustomed to the car without it since I got it installed a few days after I bought the car? I still feel a lot of "body roll" or whatever it's called. I'm getting the lowering springs put on this week sometime. Does that make a difference? Was the sway bar a waste of money?

the sway bar will help out alot... perhaps you just really got it too early to notice the difference, but most sway bars will add a significant difference

with the springs you plan to add, you'll notice it a bit as well.

Here's another question. To my understanding, there are two settings on the sway bar. Is that correct? What are the differences between settings?

I installed the TRD sway bar myself and was very skeptical about it until I installed the TRD springs. Although the sway bar only attaches to the torsion beam, it really does stiffen the rear axle and reduce body roll. When I changed my rear springs, the sway bar made it difficult because even with the mounting bolt removed from one side, it prevented the axle from dropping very far. It might have been easier to remove the sway bar to change springs but it wasn't necessary.

IMO, the combination of the sway bar and springs produces much better handling than either one alone. The TRD springs reduce the center of gravity and are a bit stiffer.

AFAIK there are no adjustments for the sway bar although moving the rubber bushings from Scion's recommended position in the axle beam may well affect how the sway bar performs.

BTW, I just wanted to add that the sway bar and springs haven't adversely affected the ride quality. It's a bit stiffer but less bouncy and I prefer the ride and handling with them installed. Better shocks would probably help a lot too but I'll wait until there are more choices available.

To be honest, I haven't really pushed it that hard yet.
