I have Tanabe Df's and Hotchkis F&R sway bars. Go with the hotchkis for sure. The shop that I got it installed in was closing for the day, so they only did the springs and rear sway. I went in the next morning and got the front put in. While driving with just the rear on, the front of the car felt soft and unresponsive. When they are both on, the car feels crisp and responsive. With all this done you'll see how crappy the stock tires are though.

I think I saw that deal in the classified section....great deal!

For me, I think the TRD rear sway with the NF210's will be perfect.

I am guessing that since the DFs are stiffer the sway will be less noticeable when compared with the sway and NFs.

You are in Lakewood....I might have to ask for a demonstration.

Well it is Munday and i installed the TRD sway on Saturday... As stated before i have Tanabe Df's and these have lowered and stiffened my ride a lot... The sway bar did make a big difference as expected in corners... I now feel almost zero roll and can accelerate hard through long sweeping curves... The only worry i have now are the tires, but those will be replaced soon enough... up next are the underbrace and strut bar... I have a feeling they might not do much, but for the price of both i am willing to try...

If you have the stock Goodyear Eagle RS-A's, they'll be toast soon.

I opted for the Proxes4's. Pretty decent tire, thus far.

ShaffNasty, here are some comments from Bigfieroman a few months back:

He's riding on Eibach Sportline springs, so you're probably just a bit lower.

Thanks for following up on your post, ShaffNasty !!!
Great review.
I wonder if TRD is making their new one "softer" so it wouldn't break as easy. I just hope it will not down grade on performance as well.......

I was told by trdsparks the bar has been pulled to redesign it and I ordered the hostkins instead. I had that on my xa and man, the front bar made a world of difference, the rear maybe 10%. I am getting the set, then some springs. I had prosports, but the ride was onthe harsh side, however wind did not whip the xa around. Thinking of trd springs.

From what I've been able to determine, Prosports are a type of coilover spring. How big of a drop are you looking for? TRD springs only drop 1" front & 1.5" rear (for the xB), and they're fairly stiff for such a mild drop (although probably not near as stiff as any form of coilover). I notice that your profile is for an xA, and I'm just curious why you're posting so much in the xB section. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to bag or be harsh in any way, I'm just figuring most of the info that applies to xB's is irrelevant for the xA since it is a different size and weight vehicle.

I just traded my xa for an 09 xb and do not have any photos to update the profile. I am using it as a reference at this point for products I bought.

I want it to sit level, but same or softer ride.

Gotcha, nice to have you aboard. The most level ride comes from Eibach Sportlines @ 1.2"F/2.2"R or Hotchkis @ 1.375"F/2.25"R. Softest ride comes from Tanabe NF210 @ 1"F/1.7"R. Hope this helps your decision process.

The xB2 comes with a standard front swaybar.

Got my hos sway kit, installed the rear bar. Man, this is one tight feel. I put a bar on my xa rear, stackable bar tha tis and it was like 10% less sway, this is like 60% of the roll when you make a turn removed from teh xb2. I put the triange bushings far as I could on each end and clamped it tight, drove it and retightened it.

To avoid fooling with the shocks as I was removing the bolt, I inserted a bolt in the back side, so I just have to reverse the process once the bar was lined up.

Not sure what hte grease was for, but I did not use it. Why do I want to make it easy for the bar to flex in the mounts??? I want it firm and tight.
