xB2 Weight Distribution?

xB2 Weight Distribution?
Just curious if anyone knows this? I am currently looking into getting a set of coil-overs for the xB2, but the spring rates on the coil-overs I have seen seem a bit different than the springs I am running.
I know the listed weight is 3020, but I don't know the weight distribution to make a fair calculation for spring rates.
I am looking into getting a set of K-Sport GT Pro's (inverted shock design) with custom spring rates.
The spring rates that come stock on the KSport GT Pro Coilovers are: Front - 7.5k/420lbs, Rear - 4.5kg/252lbs.
For comparisons sake, I just checked the suspension compilation sticky, it looks like my Hotchkis springs are around 4.5/3.9k. I know my rear sway bar increases my rear spring rate by 200lbs ( I believe).

Not sure if this'll help you out at all, but on my '93 Honda Civic Si I was running 450# f and 350# r with about a one finger gap between the finder and tire. The car was not gutted and had a hundred lb speaker amp box combo, so it weighed around 2400 lbs. It was my dd and I had little to no driving issues minus big pot holes. Slow and easy on those and I never bottomed out. It's been recommended on other boards that if you slam your car you'd want higher spring rates, at least 500# f, back varies from what I remember between 350-450# (some what comfortably).

I don't really plan on slamming it, more so function than form. I plan on using the coilovers for autox and the like.
I was leaning towards the GT pro's because of their inverted strut and reinforced build, especially since they will be on year round, with the pothole ridden roads ky has.

If you plan on upgrading the springs, look into the Swift brand. I've seen spring dynos on those compared to other brands, and they hold the same rating throughout the compression range.

Not sure how much you can pick up a set for, but I just did a quick search and it looks like it goes for around $1300. To me at that price I'd want a really good warranty and the ability to have it rebuilt if need be. Also I'm not sure if getting swift springs would cost you extra or not, but if it does then to me it isn't worth it. Just my opinion going off the price I saw.
As far as going for performance over looks and not wanting it slammed, which is a great choice to me. I would go with 400-450# f & 300-350# r., 16" light weight rims, lighten car ie. No big sound system, blah blah blah... Anyways good luck and have fun with whatever you decide.

Just curious why you are worried about weight distribution. With coilovers you can adjust the weight distribution youself in a significant different ways as well as your spring rate. I had my old car taken to a shop to get corner balanced for a accurate setup or you can buy your own scales and do it from there

With the gt pro's they will do custom spring rates and valving to match if you give them the rates for no additional charge.
.
With these coil-overs Ksport recommends NOT changing the spring rate (IE, adjusting the height by compressing the spring) because they custom valve them for that specific rate.
with the xb2's weight distribution, I could figure out what spring rates I needed.
Venisme - you seem to think like I do :D
Also, I'm fairly certain that they are rebuildable.

What if you do you own custom distribution? Find something you want it to sit at, like 50/50 60/40 or something and do some math to figure out whats what? Also keep in mind on the left side driver your weight.
