yeah I can't figure out the rear springs. I have installed lowering springs for years. I have taken them in and out about five times and still the same. I also contacted Sprint and no response. just stuck with them I guess unless I want to buy another set.

maybe i have the backs on the front and the fronts on the back. That's the only thing I can think of. Do you guys think that could have happened?

I like the look its different, which is the whole point of driving a scion, "United by Individuality" LOL ok now i sound like a comercial...

I had a few questions...

did you have your parking break up when you parked the car for the shoot?
and did you install the smaller springs in the front and the bigger ones in the rear?

Here is mine, Remember you are also on 16's Velocity and I are on 19's could make a difference. Because scion jacked up the rear on the xb's it should be slightly higher than the front since its an all around 2.0 drop.

This is why other spring companies offer lower rears for a more level drop i.e. Tanabe, Hotchkis just to name a few.

Sprint Springs

See I think my rear spring were mixed up at the factory or something. My rear springs do not have pigtails at both ends. One end is pigtailed and the other end has three tight wound together coils. Like I said before I contacted Sprint in Cali and got no response

where did you get the smoothie wheels to fit a new gen Scion?? have you had any trouble with the WW inserts.. about every 6 months mine rip off the front wheels while I am on the interstate, it's annoying as hell, cause than my tire balance i all jacked up and my ride looks like ____ till i get a more white walls in.. but the backs always seem to be fine..
I almost ready to give up the old school look and just throw my dan hubcaps back on..

Griff, That's why I got rid of them. I was buying them every 2 months. I guess that is why they said to only install them on Bias ply tires and not radials. They warned me over and over, but I just loved the look. If you really want the look you have to lay down the cash for real white at about 190.00 a tire. Plus if I went any further with that look you get real close to looking like those PT cruisers that use that look.

Love the look...Mobbin'! Found 14" "OEM look" steel wheels at Discount tire for $49 each, and Fisk Classic tires (P185/70R-14) in white wall for $49 each. Also found a place that will widen the white wall/ shave the black off, for $30 a tire. Just bought the tires and wheels today. Rides so smoothly compared to my 18's. Love that sidewall!

That's all good for an xB1, but the reason I asked is because I was surprised that 14" wheels would clear the disc brake rotors on an xB2... I'm still skeptical that they would.
Me thinks you posted in the wrong forum.

I didn't think the 14" would clear on the Xb1 since the stock steelies are 15". They tried the 14" on at Discount...and they fit. They usually have them in stock and I'm sure they'd be more than willing to test fit them for you. Happy shopping!
