Default 19 x 8 with 40 mm offset, issues?

Hi gang. I know these topics get beaten like a rented mule, but just wanted to check with the resident experts before I purchase.

Looking at a set of wheels which are 19 x 8 with a 40 mm offset. Any fitment issues? What would the recommended tire size be?

Any thoughts or issues with Petrol wheels?

Here ya go bud, hope it helps: http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?postId=906

If not CIONIDE actually will do the calculations for you, I'm just pressed for time right now, sorry.

Tirerack will also recommend what tires to put on what size rims...

The petrol wheels are nice. You are correct, they are made by TSW. If you find one that interest you let us know we would be happy to help. A 235.35.19 would be a good tire size for that fittment, I would suggest a Falken just to make sure you clear the front outside fenders. The 452 is a great performance tire and would work well for you.

Default 20x8 42mm

I don't know if this helps, but I have 20x8 with a 42mm offset, and they don't even come close to rubbing. I am running 235x30x20 Falken 452's all the way around.
I also liked the petrol, but decided to go with ASA's. Tire Rack has the polished lip with black center in the 19 or 20 inch variety for $169.00 each, and its a quality wheel.

No, I don't work for tire rack....

I just bought ASA JH8's (black). They are sitting in my basement. I have to get tires for them.

Pay attention to the finish on those wheels, make sure you stick with soap and water for cleaning, I know a few companies that have mixed reviews on them.

Default Cleaning

I have had mine since July on the streets of Philly with no problems. I use Eagle One wheel cleaner.
