Default 2008 xB stock wheel specs

Trying to find ALL of the specs for the stock wheels.

I know they are 16" diameter.

I know they have 60.1mm centerbore.

I know they are 5x114.3 (or 5x4.5" translated to American).

What is the stock width & offset????

I've searched for far too long & can't find the answer...all I come up with is what people are running for AFTERMARKET specs. I want to know the STOCK specs.

Thanks in advance!

edit: centerbore, not counterbore.

Awesome. Thanks guys.

I'm trying to find other stock alternatives for rims. I know some have said the Infinity G/Nizzan Z rims work well.

I thought maybe the Lexus IS300 rims would work, but they're actually too positive an offset (7" rim, 50mm offset...puts the outside lip right where the stock is, and tucks the 1/2" extra under the car). I was a little surprised at that, given that it's a RWD car...figured if anything, the offset would go too far the other way. O well. Would've looked good too.

Has anyone compiled a list of OEM rims that would work well for the xB2? 5x114.3 (5x4.5") is so common, I would think there would be a ton of options...

Does anyone happen to know the combined weight of the stock tire, wheel, hubcap and sensor?
Thank you in advance.

I can't believe I'm posting this again; but I'm here to help:

I think the tire and wheel calculator we all use will help you understand how the changes from stock may or may not work, and what the resultant changes will be:

http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?postId=906

Keep in mind that the stock tires are 205/55x16" with +45 offset.

Stock weight is approximately 22# for tire and 22# for steelie = about 44# total at each corner.

Have fun playing with the calculator/comparer!

If I did my math correctly, the IS wheel face will sit right where our stock one does, and the extra 1/2" width will be under the car...so I'd check for clearance in the back. The rim or tire may hit the rear trailing arm...I dunno.

probably not long, if they're anything like the first-gen's lousy stock tires.

I'd expect 25,000 miles out of them, 30,000 tops.

if you were going for a stock size wheel with a good flush look i would do something in a 7.5 width with a +35 offset would be a good fit and the stock tire would fit

What I'm really looking for is a factory rim (car brand doesn't matter), 17" or 18". I agree - 7.5" +35mm would be perfect. Just need to find some good candidates.

Here's another factory fitment that works nicely:

19 x 8.0 +48 offset (off the TRD option for the xB2)
Recommended tire size is: 235/35R19

Hopefully that will give a few more ideas for what will fit

RX-8 is 18x8, plus 50mm. I think it would work out nicely, maybe a space would be needed, but im not sure. you'd gain just under an inch of width inward (behind the hub) and they'd stick out about half an inch further. someone with acces to an RX-8 try this for me!

i didnt even see your post before i posted! this pretty much confirms (for me anyway) that an RX-8 wheel would fit sweet and most likely be totally awesome and gnarly and extreme and hardcore. i gotta try it!
