Default Another xB2 wheel question-Will 18x9.5 et35 fit w/o rubbing?

I'm looking at alot of rear-drive Lexus wheels for the new xB, and am wondering if 9.5's would work rear, w/8.5 et35 in front. Maybe w/stretched tires? Opinions?

based on previous posts from others, i was under the impression for no rubbing that:
front wheels with a 8" width, a +35 offset would work

so, i would then assume for an 8.5" wheel width, you'd need to go with a +40 offset
right?

i plan on getting
fronts: 20x8.5 +40 offset
rears: 20x9.5 +40 offset

i know that a slightly stretched 225 series tire will fit on a 8.5" wheel, with no problems

yeah, I'm thinking 8" or 8.5" all around now, 35 or 38 offset.

it should work.

IM running a 19x8 +45 up front and a 18x9 +35 in the rear..

The rear sits flush right now.. and thats a 9 inch wheel.. the back side of that rear wheel has about 1.5 inches clearance from the shock.. Depends how low you wana go but 18s are pretty small wheels for teh new XB. IF your going to be running 215 / 225 35 tires i think it will work unless you planning on slamming and tucking the rim

Rear Wheel

the front they should work.. I went conservative with the offest on the front in which i still can space out about 10mm. to get the wheel flush

Nice Ride!, Based on the information you provided 19x8.5 35mm offset and 19x9.5 35mm offset should work.... Cool Thanks...

I wish they offered them in wider 18's too... I saw those on an Audi in 20's and they looked friggin amazing.

they do make them in 18s... in the real JDM version the price is almost the same also.. but shipping is killer from Japan.. I was almost going to get those in 19s if i didnt have to wait 3 months. with the new XB IMO 18s are to small especially with those type of wheels and if your heading towards the VIP Style the bigger the better.

I meant wider 18's, like more than 7.5", haha.

Not trying to be VIP, and I commute 100+ miles a day so want some sidewall on there. Ideally I want 18's with some visual mass, that won't get lost on the car.

The original CL-210's are hot, buy yeah shipping would suck. MRR's (in 18s anyway) are very reasonable and look almost as good IMO.
