Answers to FAQ's on xB2 Wheel fitment.....
The new 08 xB is pretty much brand new on the Market and there seems to be a lot of fitment questions and of course some good answers from various Posters, so I thought it might be a good idea to keep them all in one thread?
Wheels and Tires are expensive and it's possible to make some expensive mistakes unless you do your homework first....especially if you buy from ebay or online and the Seller won't accept returns!!
So let's get the Ball rolling...here's a very good explanation of how to measure a Bolt Pattern and offset....
https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html
LUG PATTERN
The 08 has a 5-Hole Lug Pattern, which means the Wheel has to have 5 Holes to enable it to Bolt on, then consider the Bolt Circle diameter which is 114.3mm, so, if you take the above basic dimensions you should ONLY be looking at wheels designated as a 5x114.3 (4.5") Bolt Pattern, anything other than that just won't fit, unless you go for a "Universal Bolt Pattern" which is one of those wheels with multiple Bolt Holes. But be carefull, if you don't have a group of holes that aren't 5x114.3 then you're still outta luck!!
OFFSET
The site above illustrates how to measure this, just keep in mind, the SMALLER the offset, the further your wheels will stick OUT from the Fenders....
A smaller offset will look cooler because it will fill out the Fenders more but on the downside more grit and stones will be thrown up against the side of your xB so you'll be suffering some paint damage if your offset is too small.
Also, remember that your new Wheels and Tires need to clear all the components on your xB that you really don't want to mess with such as Brake Calipers, Suspension etc. Plus when you turn the fronts wheels to the extremes the tires need to miss the inner fenders....
Luckily the xB2's 5x114.3 pattern is VERY common, so you have a LOT of Wheel choices, for instance, Wheels made to fit Nissan Maxima, Morano and Ultima's will also fit your xB....
Having said all that, it's always best to ask a Wheel Vendor if the Wheels you're interested in have physically been fitted to an xB2 with no problems, or at least if there were some problems ask them exactly what you need to do to make them run....
Also, keep in mind that there is a huge jump in Tire prices once you go over 18", so if you fancy 19's or 20's, price the Tires to make sure you can afford them, they can easily cost more than the Wheels and they have to be replaced when they wear out.
The xB2 has Tire pressure Monitors, these are expensive, so ask your installer if they are able to remove them and install them in your new wheel/tire package, if not, move on!!
HUBCENTRIC RINGS
Do you need them? I would say yes if the diameter of the Hub is smaller than the Hole in your wheel, they ensure that the wheel runs concentric, if it doesn't, you'll have vibration problems at higher speeds...and use the PLASTIC rather than Aluminum ones, they'll be a lot easier to remove when you need to...Aluminum will tend to weld itself to the wheel after a while, ebay has them for around $20 a set so it's well worth it to keep your ride comfy!!
I hope this helps, it's only meant as a guide to get you started.

As more and more Owners go to Aftermarket Wheels for the Gen2 I could also edit the OP to include successes and pitfalls to keep it all in one place....
So if anyone would like to see anything added let me know....it could turn into a great resource for 08 Owners....

They are alright, but I've found the same exact rims before, I forgot where, for only $700. The only difference was it didn't have the TRD logo, and in my opinion, 12 letters is NOT worth $1,400.
