I understand your point chief. It is that if you spend $500.00 per wheel on a $15,000 car, you are a total moron!

look at it this way. people spend 5k+ on a quality turbo kit, emanage and all the rest of it. yeah thats great and all, but rims are what your car has to rely on to stay put. if they spend 5k+ on a turbo, why not 2k on rims?

Good lucky to you skippy! I hope you enjoy your wheels. I have my cheapo wheels and tires and they suit me fine for driving up and down the highway at 65 and sitting in traffic.

Actually the tires are more important then the rims are. Take a look at the high end thread. Most of those guys are running low end falken's and kuhmo's. So for a boosted car, those tires are worthless

i sold my works today i dont know what i was thinking spending so much on wheels on a car that was so cheap............

some people like nice things
i like light wheels
i like stong wheels
my car isnt the every day xb
and lets face it i push my car harder then probably any other xb2 driver
when it comes to knowing my wheels will hold up to anything i throw at them for when a wheel breaks it is going to cost more then the extra 400 bucks i spent on good wheels and tires

you were giving that person a hard time for spelling breaking wrong, being a douche, but yet you think its something to brush off when i caught your typo. so why you getting at me when what i did to you, you did to someone else?? maybe you should learn. especially since you still spelled breaking wrong even if the original person didn't even use a "g"

either way. no hard feelings to anyone, i mean ____ what kind of person would i be if i hated someone JUST because they ran cheap wheels

You're welcome Drew; put 'em on and take some pictures! Don't listen to those tC guys, they're in the wrong forum.

Don't take that negatively tC guys, what you say is valid about cast vs. forged... it's just that most of us xB drivers don't drive as hard core as you. Coryjames is our exception, which is why he has a Turbo & is on Work wheels.
