One of the wheels i'm considering is 18x7.5 +38. I would be running it with 225/40 -18's. Is anybody running this offset and size?

I checked on the calculator and it came back with this:

Package will stick out 17 mm (0.7'') farther. Make sure that you have enough room under the fender. If not, consider narrower tires or higher offset.

I'll probably be lowering my car using TRD springs down the road and want to avoid any rubbing issues.

That'd be a fine offset. A lot of people are running 18x8 w/ a 40mm offset, and that works fine.
