Default CIONIDE™ fitment approval :P *Updated pics

Hey all...finally made my tire and wheel selection for the xb. I'm going with Enkei 17x8 45mm offset for the wheels (see link below)

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...m=3795704935BS

and need some suggestions for tire size. I have Sumitomo HTR Z III 225/45-17 on the wish list right now, but saw a post somewhere where this size would be a bit stretched on 17x8? I did the tire calculator/comparison thing on

http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?postId=906

and it looked like everything was ok, but just wanted to get some second opinions before spending this kind of money.

Also...I talked to the guys at tirerack and they said that there wouldn't be any rubbing issues with these on a TRD drop. Confirm/Deny?

EDIT

They came in today...here's some pics. I'll try to get them mounted tonight and post pics later. Thanks again for the help all.

17s on a trd drop, you could put hoosiers in there and wouldn't rub

go with a more aggressive drop, 17's need a better drop than a trd. Sick wheels btw

yeah I would go with a more aggressive drop except the roads here suck too much...Also I'm trying to keep as close to the original suspension geometry as I can. Glad ya like the wheels

I see you've trademarked my name for me, thanks.

Like the others have said, no rubbing problems at all.

On the TRD drop, with those wheel specs, I would definitely recommend 235/45-17 tires. The 8" wheel width will look better with 235's, you'll have a little more meat on the ground, and these will fill out the tire/fender gap a little bit more than the 225/45's.

Keep in mind that the TRD 19x8 wheels also use a 235 wide tire, as well as the outside diameter of the 235/45-17 being a little bit smaller than the 235/35-19 Toyo's.

Trust me, you'll be happier with the 235/45-17's.
