Definitely worth it. I use the hell out of mine ever since I added them to my box. It actually doesn't suck rain up into the car when it's raining, which is nice.

I keep browsing local classifieds and run across decent deals. My buddy is in his roof rack, complete with 3 bike carriers and a ski/board carrier, for around $300. So I just have to keep my eyes peeled!

I honestly don't see myself using it much. Maybe for packing around 49"x97" sheets of MDF or other lumber, but I don't do any type of recreation stuff. Could be why I'm the fattest vegan.

Thanks. Not a prayer in the world. The 18x8 MB Weapons only come in a +30 offset. With the 245/40's on the rear I rub anytime I have passengers in the rear or a decent weight load of cargo in back. Fortunately even though I do carry cargo, it's fairly light weight, so no rubbing usually. Putting the 18's on the front would poke another 1/2" compared to the rear (just because of how Scion has the axles set up), and the 245/40's are 1" larger in outside diameter than the OEM tires. (I'm running +43 offset 17x7's with 225/45 tires that are the same diameter as OEM up front, so no rubbing for me.)

If you stick with OEM springs and don't lower it, then you could pull off the 18x8 +30 wheels, but you would need something like 215/40-18 tires to tuck under the front fenders when the suspension moves up & down to keep from rubbing.

Hope that helps.

I like those MB's but they look more blue than the grey listed on Discount's site.
I'd probably go with 17x8 42 offset all the way around with 235/50's
