Default Does our cars have a 12x1.50mm threads size

Well Im new to the forums, this is my 2nd xb. I have also had a 1st gen but love this one. Question, Im looking at these wheels, they are 18x7.5, they have a 5x100 lug pattern. So I think they will fit my car, but Ive read that some TC wheels dont fit our cars. Dont we have the same lug pattern? They say that these rims Im looking at only fit with 12x1.50mm threads size. Do yall think these rims will work. If so also what size tire do yall think I should get. I will also have the Eibach lowering springs on it.
Thanks in advance for all the help

well 5x100 is the same as 114.3 so do you think these rims should fit, what is the main reason why the TC rims wont fit the XB if they have the same lug pattern.

100 does not equal 114.3 (it's 14.3 larger diameter).

What kind of new math did they teach you in school?

Sorry man, I just had to.

It's cool but I meant that the rims say 5x100/114.3 5 lugs, so pretty much do you think these rims will fit and what tires do you think I should get 18x7.5 with a+ 45 offset

A 5x100/114.3 pattern will have 10 holes for lugs (5 for each pattern).
Do the wheels you're looking at have 10 holes?
That size will fit fine; what other sizes and offsets are available?
Can you post a link to the wheels you're looking at?
For that size wheel you want 225/40x18

BTW, the reason that stock tC wheels don't fit is that they are only 5 hole wheels with the 5x100 pattern.

+45 is the same as the stock steelies. It'll work fine, I was just curious if there were other options. Since the wheels are 1" wider than stock, the face of the wheel will be 1/2" closer the the fender lip (closer to flush, but not quite there).

Here's the tire & wheel calculator:

http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp?postId=906

Keep in mind that the stock tires are 205/55x16" with +45 offset

Just to clearify a few things for everyone, I don't think this can be posted enough.

2nd gen xB Bolt pattern: 5-114.3 (this means 5 lugs spaced 114.3mm apart on centers)
Stock wheel size: 16x6.5
Stock Wheel offset: 45mm
Lug Pitch: 12x1.5mm (this is the stud thread pitch)
Stock tire: 205.55.16

There are a lot of helpful links in our Info center of our website including a tire size calculator.
Here is a link:
