Default Five Axis FIVE: AD Wheels

These are exactly the type of wheels designs/colors I've been waiting for. I'll be replacing my TRD's with these.

Damn resize those and don't hotlink them! That steals the hosts bandwidth Put them up on Photobucket or Flickr or something.

I like the last ones personally.

met up with Troy from 5Axis while at SEMA
(and he gave me a very limited edition Hot Wheels car, signed by him too)
he talked about the new wheels and other items (suspension pieces, kits, etc) that are coming out from 5Axis in the near future
sorry, nothing of the xB yet

but yeah, the wheels are sexy -- especially with the custom offsets they provide

Very cool! I liked all the concepts and kits they've produced so far. I haven't been this excited for rims in a while. They seem to have hit on what I've been wanting to see aesthetically in wheels. More neo-technical-industrial and less bling. Hopefully some more information as to when/where they'll be available and specs comes soon. Custom offsets hmm.

Most likely. I've e-mailed Five Axis and haven't gotten anything back yet. This is from the press release:

"The FIVE: AD wheel line-up will launch with five styles with fitments for front and rear wheel drive vehicles. The collection includes single and multi-piece cast and forged aluminum alloy wheels"

This is from the Autoblog blurb:

"The complete wheel lineup consists of five designs available in multiple finishes that are all as unique as this company's corporate-sponsored fantasy cars. The sizes range from 17- to 20-inches and feature bolt patterns available for almost any application"

The fact that they're a Scion/Toyota specific design house and from the above info I'm pretty confident they will work for xB2.

No idea since they are brand new and no pricing has been announced. They look like standard tuner type wheels so I don't see why they'd be any more expensive than comparable wheels by Konig, Motegi, Enkei, etc. Racing type and chrome pimp type wheels seem to be the only kind that are very pricey.

I wouldn't doubt that these will be on the TRD price level. Enkei/Konig prices is being hopeul, hehe

You can buy a TRD 19" xB2 wheel for $222.00. You can buy a Konig 19" HotSwap for $220.00. If it winds up being on the TRD price level...it'll be the same as the Konig/Enkei/Motegi price level.

guess i can answer some questions, We're shooting to launch the wheels early next year, keep an eye out for a launch date between Jan - Feb. Final Pricing is still up in the air, I'll update with responses as more info comes in. If you have questions for FIVEaxis, PM me, they are generally pretty busy which can often make them slow on returning emails.

Awesome! Thanks for the update sky-on. I'll definitely be in the market for these Jan-Feb. Hopefully pricing will be comparable with other tuner wheels I would be considering like the aforementioned Enkei/Konig/Motegi.

Are the Five:AD wheels going to be available through the bigger chain retailers like Discount Tire, Tire Rack, NTB or through Scion dealers or direct from Five Axis?

I love all the wheel designs but I've never seen any like the black with red pinstriping that looks like something out of TRON. Tell them to keep it up with the futuristic, unique designs.
