i know i have a tc but ill be running 15's in a few weeks, smoother ride with more sidewall, less curbage, longer lasting tires, lots of good reasons to go with a 15

thing about those wheels on the pilot is that they are heavy. those wheels aren't aluminum they are steelish. if that is the wheels your looking look into cragar black v-5's those are fresh.
also cragar makes soft 8s [same as the pilot] in +6 offset aswell as 0 offset.

I've been driving a rental Corolla for about 6 days now because the xB is at the stealership (long story short, brought it in for defective water pump and now it's being serviced for condenser problem due to the dealership breaking this). The ride on the Corolla is really smooth, quiet, and hardly anything is transferred into the cabin.

I don't feel the road. There's no excitement. If you're driving a tC and you're in to the ride, I'd say jump into a Corolla if you can and feel how that one drives. There was no excitement in the Corolla, and I'm afraid you'd be reducing some of the excitement of feeling the road when driving the tC. Just my 2 cents.

To me, that's a good thing. I like comfort, and I'm no old man.

@MaxBoost925: Well the car has to still drive comfortable, but I need to feel the road. I like the sporty handling. I've always been in cars like this. The Corolla is too soft, too quiet. I can't stand it. lol

@Murphys_Law: Roads are not too bad here in Jacksonville, but there are some areas where being lowered doesn't help. Overall they're generally smooth.

If I drove my box elsewhere, I probably would have went with 17's and a modest NF210 drop. Instead I'm on 235/40/18 with Eibach Sportlines. The ride, I'm sure, would be punishing in Dallas.

235/40 is decent sidewall.

Try 215/35/18. Those are rubberbands.

I'm on NF210's/TRD shocks/Michellin 225/55/16. Rides well, but not 15" soft.
