i wanna see how the df's look. i'm thinking they should put me right where i need to be. i'd like to go lower but hate scraping so it's not really an option for me. if it looks like butt, i'll see what i do.

Those look great! I was wondering how they'd look on our cars. I think it will look great with the DF's installed.
I saw you posted earlier in the thread about a DIY for spring install. Best thing you can use is the TRD spring instructions. You can get the PDF file on TRDSparks. I used that last week when I installed my Tanabe NF's and it's great step by step.

thanks for the compliments. i already plan on using the trd instructions. i was actually getting ready to install the springs sunday when i noticed that the idiots who mounted my wheels stripped one of the lugs and i couldn't get it off. so now i have to go pick up a new lug and then take it to the techs so they can fix the screw up. seriously, these wheels have been a massive pain in the butt, but i love how they look so it more than makes up for it.

Ah man, that just happened to me a few weeks ago on my wife's car. A few months ago I ordered her new tires from tirerack and took the car to get them put on. Went to rotate them and 5 of them were stripped. I got 2 of them all the way off but 3 broke the stud about half way. So I had to go buy new studs, bang the old ones out, and put the new ones in. Wasn't a horrible job just a pain in ___. The killer for me was I usually just take the wheels off and take them to where ever. The one time I took the car that ____ happened. I'm just glad they were lug nuts instead of lug bolts like my VW had. If those strip or break you have to hope you don't need a new rotor.
I might be able to save you time on the rear springs. You don't have to take the wheels off. I barely jacked the rear up and crawled under and took out the 2 bolts. Then I jacked the car up enough so that it lowered the torsion beam enough to get the old springs out. I think it would be harder to pull the arm down if the weight of the wheels wasn't there to do it.

thanks for the tip. the rear looks just like the xa's i owned so i know it'll be no sweat. i'm just annoyed about the lugs. i'm sure the guys at the dealership will be able to take them off so i'm not too worried. it's just another inconvenience i didn't need.
