Default Lookin to run 18x10 in the rear

Hey i was lookin at some rims and they are 18x8.5 in the front but the rears are 18x10. I know there are a couple of people that have that set up. I have some questions what did you have to do to make it work. I am thinking of going with a NF drop right now the car sits stock. Will those rims clear the shocks in the rear? Will i have to roll my fenders? How much stretch if any will i have to run? This is all new to me so im looking for any input i just want to have a nice stance that will make people take a double take but still be able to drive it daily without worrying about blowing a tire up lol.

it is all dependent upon setup. ie: camber, height, tire size, offset. Personally i needed lots of fender rolling and pulling to fit my 245 RE01R's on a 35 offset. when the wheels and tires start getting a bigger radius the rubbing problems start to be from where the bumpers meet the fenders, or at least thats the cause of my rubbing front and rear.

from my experience you will have to have alot of fender related mods to fit a wheel that size. but it could work with lots of camber, rolled fenders and lastly either a short sidewalled tire or a stretch if thats what you like.

as Thorium said, it depends on setup. Neek's thrown a 10.5 +30 offset in the rear, I have a 9.5 +32 offset in the rear, "axiswheels" has done a 20x10 w/ a +20 offset and I can't remember other members who have done an aggressive setup in the rear. Sorry to say, but the info's here. You just have to search for it

I didn't mean to come off in a bad way. I just mentioned that the info is available via the search function. But any-who...Since your considering a 18x10 in the rear, your going to need to roll (maybe roll&pull) the rear fenders. But it does depend on the offset of the wheel. If you don't mind me asking, which wheels are you considering? Offset?

Sorry man its just been a long week. the rims i am looking to run are Work Bersaglio and the offset in the rear is +44. I am on a stock suspension right now i figured i would get the rims set up i want then drop it accordingly. i am pretty sure the fronts will clear they are 18x8.5 +38.

Guess I'm reviving an old thread huh?

18x10 +32 super-lo disk AME Shallen CX. Works for Hellaflush fitment with rolled fenders. I was on custom Precision Muffler air-overs.
