Default My tire review: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus

Pros: Sticky tires both on dry and wet pavement
aggressive tire tread design
good wheel lip protection
light years better than the oem crap

Cons: The tread design allows rocks and such to get stuck inside
a wee bit noiser than the goodyears
expensive if you are on a budget

So I've had these for about a week and after doing the alignment as well, I'm really glad I bought these tires. Grip is quite amazing, especially last night driving in a rain storm. I don't think I've ever owned a tire that impressed me so much while driving on wet pavement. Going up an incline to merge with traffic I dropped pedal to the floor and I was shocked that the t/c did not start going crazy. It just kept going like I was driving on dry pavement. Simply amazing!

The only issue I have is they are a little noisier than my previous tires. They are still tolerable, but going from a 50 to 45 series tire I was expecting it. Now I just hope they last the 45k miles they are warrantied for lol.

What's your sizing?

I have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 225/55/16 on my FD wheels.

Thanks for the review. I'd love to see a pic of the rim protection if you've got one. Maybe from an angle to see how they stick out past the rim.

They're pretty darn sticky. They sure impressed me!

I got mine for $80 though
