Default new 5 lug wheels

are they 5 x 100 or 5 x 114? I have a nice set of 17's but they are 5 x 114. I'm guessing that they are 5 x 100. I guess i'll be buying new wheels ... again

From what I'm hearing the 2nd gen. xB is gonna be 5X114 instead of the 5X100 that everyone expected. The xD could still be 5X100 tho???

yeah, my xA has 16's that are 4 x 100 but i have a set of 17" 5 x 114 that I had on my 2003 Element. Every car I've had since 1992 has had a set of aftermarket wheels on it, no way my new xB is gonna ride around with plastic wheel covers, not even for a day. I'm an admitted wheel snob.

Talked to Troy from Five Axis at the SE 3 year event.. HE is prob the only one that got his hands on the new XB and Moded it..

XB will be 5x114
XD will be 5x100

For some reason the product specilist from Scion is telling everyone its 5x100 on the XB..

ASked on the offset that he fit on the car.

+43 but even a +40 or even a +38 depending on how low you drop it.

ok, this may sound stupid, but I am ignorant to all the mechanical car stuff. My husband asked if I had read anything about the width of the wheel. He said 7 is the norm. Since there is nothing normal about Scion, does anyone know what the actual wheel width.

Yes.

The stock wheels are 16"X6.5". They come with 205/55-16 Bridgestone Turanza EL 400 tires that suck and are rated 300 A A. Supposedly, the bolt pattern is 5X114.3mm and they have an offset of approximately 43mm. There are three hubcap designs availible; a 6 spoke, a 7 spoke, and a split-5/10 spoke.

I think that is all the info, aside from getting deep into tire specs.

when upgrading from 16" to larger wheels:
205/55/16's are 24.88" tall
205/50/17's are 25.07" tall
215/50/17's are 25.46" tall
205/45/18's are 25.26" tall
215/45/18's are 25.62" tall

I saw the xB at the Chicago Backstage today. Sporting the 19" TRD wheels with 235/35 s. It did not have the lowering springs. These wheels filled out the space. Looked very slick. I'll post pics when I get a chance. I would be suspect on the turning ability, but only on the inside portion. The guy was guessing the wheel was almost and 8".

Not sure if the 32 would work, but it seems reasonable. Mabey have to mod the inside of the wheel well some.

235/35/19's are the same height as 215/50/17's with 1" less of sidewall height. I think 17's will look perfect on the 08 xB but i guess most people like huge wheels with tiny sidewalls.
