Understood, i just don't understand why people flaunt the tow hitch,
IMO, it says, "Hey!, i plan on getting stuck somewhere, heres my hitch to get me out when it happens.", rather than using it only when needed.
But that's off topic, for this thread.
Threadjack end..

Personally i like the towhook. Some people are trying to go for the JDM racing look. which should explain why they were saying this isnt a Honda forum cuz a lot of honda's out there are rocking the towhook for no reason but looks. I mean come on think about it how many of us actually used the tow hook for towing?
hope this explains some, and i hope this just didnt confuse you more, its kinda late for me so i iznt thinking write

Edit: like i said i am not thinking right right now....
easily put, they use tow hooks for looks and cuz they think its JDM.

Actually JDM stands for Japanese Domesticated Market. If Its from Japan and We domesticated it here in Us. its JDM.... don't mean it has to come stock.

actually JDM stands for Japanese domestic market, which to my understanding, means its made and sold for the Japanese domestic market. Not meaning that other countries "domesticated" it making it JDM. And also iirc if something comes stock on a car its referred to as OEM, hence my earlier post. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

those rims need some more rubber man... ;)

My box is back to winter mode, but here are some new shots of my 18s. Got some spacers and springs coming for next season, should have a nice stance when these go back on.

First post on here and I'm still clueless when it comes to offset.

I'm looking at some rims for my RS5. The 2 I'm looking at are 18x9 +25 and a 18x8.75 with a +20. Would these fit with some NF210 springs (1"/1.7")?

I'm not looking for poke or anything like that I just want a nice concave look on the one or a nice lip (3" would be nice) that will fit with no fender rolling.

The area I live in is more into 20's so some of the rim shops around here are clueless, I appreciate any recomendations.

18x9 +25 will poke 3/4" up front and 1/4" out back.

18x8.75 +20 will poke just a little more than above.

If you don't want poking or rubbing, you should really be looking at both of these wheels with +35 offset. Even with +35 you'll still have a touch of poke up front, but tires with a little bit of stretch should keep you from rubbing without needing to roll the fenders.

CIONIDE, thanks for the info. I might look for something with a little bit higher offset
