Im looking into getting a super white 2009 xB in the next couple days maybe and was wondering what would be better for the wheel size for these tsw's im looking at. I want to go 18's but not sure if i should run the 18x8 or 18x9.5 with a 20 or 40 offset on either im planning on running bags later on so wasnt sure if the 9.5's are gonna be to wide or not. any input with the different tire widths or offsets?

Depends on how low you want to go and how much work you want to go. I'd run the 18x8's with 40 offset front and 18x9.5 40 in the rear. You could run more aggressive if you want to roll, and possibly pull, the fenders.

^^x2 for the best staggered look.

... or 18x8 +40 at all 4 corners with 15mm rear spacers, if you are trying to keep all the wheels & tires the same for rotation purposes.

yeah thats what i was thinking and im not sure how much im wanting to pull the rear fenders so i might just put rear spacers in so when i drop the bags out im not gonna run into to much rubbing problems :p

I have 18x8 with 20mm spacers in the back and I rub when I have people in the car dropped on DF 210s. I just need to roll the fenders a bit though.

^^^exactly. Good friend of mine is going to be running 19x9.5 +25 in the rear soon with DF210's. He currently has +45's with 10mm spacers. Looks great, but he wants more aggressive.

My new wheels are going to be aggressive and square.

i would go with round; square doesn't work as well for wheels.

I don't even have my car yet (it's on a truck to my dealer), but I am thinking about rims/tires. This is my first post, but I've read a lot on here. Enough to know that CIONIDE is the man for rim/tire questions.

I am thinking of running the TSW Nurburgring 18x7.5 +45 front with 225/40 and 18x8.5 +45 rear with 245/40. I won't have a drop at first, and if anything will have just a slight drop (TRD or equivalent). Will these work without any rubbing issues?

Thanks!

Yeah i love those wheels but if your doing a moderate drop you should be fine you should look into the tanabe nf210's i have the df210's to be super low haha and they are amazing!

Those wheel & tire specs will work great on TRD (1.0"F/1.5"R drop) or Tanabe NF210 springs (1.0"F/1.7"R drop) without any rubbing at all. The NF springs even out the ride height just a little more than the TRDs. The ride is a little softer and more comfortable on the NF springs, but at the expense of a little more body roll during cornering. If you like driving mildly aggressive (oxymoron), then the TRDs might be best for you. I drive mostly freeway, about 500 miles per week, so I went with the comfort factor of the NFs. Handling can always be flattened out & improved with the NFs by adding the Hotchkis front & rear sway bars.

Here's the NF spring thread for more info on them:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=124875

As most people on this site know, I'm kinda partial to the NF springs.

nf210s are def comfortable, if you add those to a set of hotchkis sway bars or even trd sway bars your ride will be great.
