These are door rentention rods, they allow the car to be opened during shows without allowing people to get in the car you can lock the doors with the key and no one will be able to remove them off of the door... very easy to put on and take off and I think its a great mod if you show your car or go to alot of meets....I had just gotten them and wanted to get a few shots to the person who hooked me up with them... if interested I can def give you his info just pm me!!

That's normal, the rears sit back a little more from the factory. Unfortunately, the rear axle on our xB's is offset about 1/4" toward the driver side. To get a perfect flush match for front vs. rear requires a 15mm spacer on the driver side, and a 20mm spacer on the passenger side. This can get a little expensive, since all the spacers I have seen come in pairs. Most people just get a set of 15mm spacers, and know that the right rear will not be quite as flush as the other three wheels. Unless you point it out, most people would never notice.

hmmm interesting so how bad would it be if I just got a 20mm for the rears-too much? I know you mentioned getting one 15mm and one 20mm will pretty much flush them but since they are sold in pairs would a 20mm push one out to much?
Also any way with these rim specs I can get a staggered look with spacers or would a wider wheel be the best
Allot of questions I know and sorry but I really want to get a decent look in the rear and was hoping spacers along would give me the "wide" effect back there but now after your info its not gonna look the way I planned so trying to work it out to see if I can get that look at all now...lol
I mean if at worst all I can go is get them flushed with the front I will take them but figured it wont hurt to ask...lol

You could certainly put 20mm spacers on, and push the rear wheels out toward the fenders about 1/4" more than the front, but I don't think it would be very noticeable.
The staggered look comes from either having wheels that are truly staggered, or from companies that have developed wheels that make the rear wheel lips deeper compared to the front lips, on same width wheels, such as the Maxis Lip from Axis Wheels.
Just throwing spacers on dose not achieve a staggered look, it only pushes the wheels out more. That may be all you're looking for, I'm not sure.

One more question will i be able to fit 18x9.5 +38 with a TRD drop? I want the flush look but I also dont want to rub or poke out, or would a +45 be better? and what tire size u recommend for this?

If you go with 18x9.5 +45. you will poke about 1/4" in front, and sit back from dead flush about 1/4" in the rear. You should also be able to run 235/40 tires that will still be stretched, but a little less than 225/40's.
With the choices you've given, I'd go with the +45 offset.

Wife's RS7 xB: We now call it a Scion FlexB
18x7.5 +39 Offset Ford Flex
General Exclaim UHP 225/40/18
(Had to shave all 4 calipers to get these to fit. Smoothed and painted calipers when we were done)
