Default Rebuilding Volk GTU

Ok my Volk GTU is in pretty good nick but the matte gunmetal grey is a bit boring. Best thing about it its a 2 piece rim so this Saturday I am going to strip it down and repaint it, but I don't know which colour

Nice gif. I saw polished lips but the face color depends on the color of the car.

Do you have individual pics? The .gif is cool, but I can't look at the individual color choices long enough to make a decision. lol

I was trying to pull apart the wheels on the long weekend but as it turns out the bolts and nuts were seized

penetrating oil did the trick

anyway all the rims are pulled apart now, still deciding what to do with them

I got some glow in the dark lime green paint, so I was thinking gunmetal centres and lime glow in the dark lip

should look like this lol

or gangster it out, gunmetal centre with gloss black lips

egg,
If you go too dark and flat (like pictured gunmetal, IMO), you lose all the shadow/details in the machining faces that really distinguish reverse-spokes like your AMEs, or Euroline Type-Ns, Ray's A/X Revolvers or (one of my absolute wet dreams, because of the dished/non-capped hub) Victrix Brainers.

C'mon mate, when you orange-vinyled the lips on your Autostrada Monzas, it (slightly cartoonizing) popped the center discs without detracting/obscuring the rare phonedial details. Recall even the all gloss black of wolfsurg2k1's Monzas maintained some glorious details. BTW, how are your refurshments coming?

Consider this, keep the polished lips and white pearl your center discs, which also pops your wheels circumferencial fasteners, lugs nuts, and the classic silver eggbox...

And, if you like my ideas/tastes, will me some of your castaways.
