Default TPMS: Static vs blinking?

New owner of a used xb2 here. Quite like it so far.

One question (of many to come I'm sure, since I don't have an owner's manual):
Sometimes the TPMS light on the dash is solid, sometimes it's blinking.
What's the difference?

Notes: Haven't checked pressures and adjusted them myself yet - the dealer where I bought the car put some air in one or two of the tires but it didn't reset. I don't know how long it takes to reset via the underdash button.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

The blinking is just to get you to pay attention to the static presence of the light. It should have reset instantly. People who have two sets of wheels and tires. Have posted that the light goes out. While parked near their set with the sensors.
