Those wheels will stick out past the xB2 front fenders, and the tires will rub with any kind of a drop unless they are really stretched. (Really nice wheels though.)

i think the max for the front is 8 with a 35 offset.. 8.5 is a bit wide for the front. if you want to keep these wheels i think they will work for the rear though..

Hey blkboyan,

I just noticed you're from the Bay too. I had major rubbing issues fitting my rear rims before I got my fenders rolled. Rolling/flaring the fenders made a huge difference. The guy that rolled my fenders is from Redwood City. You can bring your rims there with the 245s, and have him roll/flare them until they fit. PM me if you want his number. He only charged me $50 for the rears, but I ended up tipping him another $20 because he did such a good job. Those Volks are too nice to not put on your XB...

Tanabe DF210s... Since my fronts do not rub, I didn't roll them.

D-Unit has the right idea.

I hate cats that play the weak offset game. Offset is everything.

MaxBoost's stance is hella crazy! I can't speak for him, but I've noticed that I rub on my DF210s with 1 adult in the back on certain bumps on the freeway. During street driving, I rub a little every now and then with 1 adult and 1 child in the back, but it it's not that bad since it just rubs on the inner fenders. What you don't want is the tire rubbing on the edge where it will actually eat your tire for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

If I may quote the forever wise MaxBoost in another thread, "If it doesn't rub, it doesn't fit."

That being all said, if the DF210s were a little stiffer in the back, I bet I wouldn't rub. I noticed there is still a lot of suspension travel on these springs, so maybe one day, I'll get coilovers and call it a day.

Modding rules to live by:
If you DON'T rub, then you have BAD wheel fitment!
If you DON'T scrape, then you're NOT LOW ENOUGH!!
