Default What size spacers? - non staggered wheels

My wheels will hopefully be here at the end of Jan. 18 x 8.75 +35

What size spacers will I need for the rears to sit with the same flushness as the front wheels?

Thanks.

haha, you ordered the same XXR's I did! Who did you order from and how did you get that ship date. I ordered thru nlmotoring, but they weren't able to give me an actual ship date yet...

I would say a 10mm spacer for the rear would look good, but I'm sure Cionide will chime in soon...I think if you went with the 18x8.75 +20 they would sit more flush and you wouldn't have to worry about spacers...

Normally I recommend 15mm spacers to get the rears to match the fronts for flushness on non-staggered wheels. Depending on what your dropped on (springs, coilovers, air bags) you may need to roll fenders and/or run stretched tires to keep from rubbing.

@eman44 yeah I ordered the 527 from nlmotoring. I also got a set of k-sports that just showed up in the mail. No ship date yet on the wheels. End of Jan.

Did you get the +35 or +20? I really almost couldn't decide. I will be rolling the fenders with light stretch on the tire. I can't dump it because of my driveway, so I am thinking 215/45/18 so I can set it near the tire but still get into my driveway. LOL.

I know this is going to be near rubbing and lots of fender roll needed and not your usual setup. I do know this is going to be work to get it to fit. Then I was thinking I may change to the 18x9 +35 526 for summer.

I got the 18x8.75 +20 front, 18x9.75 +20 rear, 215/40/18 all around...serious stretching and fender rolling/pulling soon...

Did you go thru nlmotoring.com? They first said early Jan. for the shipdates, then they said mid-Jan., and I called them the other day and they said late Jan. to early Feb.

I wish I could get a date set in stone!

I'm also on KSports as well, but a 10-15mm spacer in the rear will help you out alot...or u can order a pair of +20 wheels instead

BTW what color did you order?

I ordered the matte black and my car is a SW.

I keep going back and forth about the +35 and +20. Like maybe I should just call and tell em to give me the +20 instead and then run a 15mm spacer in the rear. arrrrg. IDK. LOL.

We will have to compare Ksport settings, ride height, ride, pics etc. when this is all done.

I went with gold on my white box...I was gonna go with one of the black rims(matte or chromium) but I already have a lot of blk on my car and I wanted to mix it up...Plus I've always always always wanted gold/bronze rims on my car and this will be my first set!

18 x 8.75 +20 with 15mm spacers in the rear could work, you would have +5 offset, but I think that you wouldn't have as much poke as my 18 x 9.75 +20.

You'd still have to roll and pull the fenders but not as much...

For Sure!! How low are you on the KSports?

Actually he would poke 2.3mm more than you EMAN.

Son of a gun, that's what I was thinking, but I guess I entered the figures wrong in the offset calculator...my bad...that's why you are the man Cionide!!

So if he would have more poke, he'd be better off going with the 18 x 9.75 +20 correct?

I think he wants the same size at all 4 corners so that he can rotate.

Personally, I hate poke, so I'd go with 18x8.75 +35 at all 4 corners and 15mm rear spacers. Even this set-up would still have a tiny bit of poke front & rear.

I haven't installed the Ksports yet, they are sitting in the box. I may just stick with +35 because then it will be less fender rolling, because I am trying to run a larger side wall. This may look retarted when I am done and then I will just have to start over. LOL

and Coinide is correct want to be able to rotate the tires.

As I've already said, if you go with the 18x8.75 +35 at all 4 corners, and spacers in the rear, you will be dead flush (or even a little poke) and have less trouble with poking/rubbing/fender rolling. +20 offset can be forced, but it will poke more than 1/2" and require a great amount of fender rolling and pulling to keep from rubbing. The decision is yours.
