What tires for 20's on Air Bags?
Ok I have a set of 20x8.5 45mm wheels on order. they should be here within a week. Now I have to start shopping for tires. My XB2 is bagged and Im looking for the tucked look when Im dropped all the way. I also have played with the tire calculator to help pick tire sizes. Ive desided that that tire will be either a 225/30/20 or 225/35/20. I know the 30 series wont give me a lot of sidewall, but Im worried about the 35's being to tall.
Now for the question.
What tire is everyone running in these sizes and where is the best place to get them.
Also if you have a side view of your setup showing the wheel and the sidewall that would be great.
thanks

When I saw the topic, I thought I might be able to help out, but this one is beyond my level of expertise.
You might want to edit the topic to something like: What tires for 20's on Air Bags?
The only advise you should trust is from others who have already done it, or at least are on air bags.

thanks I changed the title. I only know of one other person running 20s and bags and he local. He had to really roll the fenders and is not running the same offset as me. he running something like 35-38mm and like 245s or something nuts.
maybe you could point me in the right direction on which tire brand. right now Im looking at the Falken 452s but they only come in 225/30. so I need something for the 225/35 that are compairable to the 452s
thanks

Anybody on airbags can help. They don't have to be on 20's. It just makes it easier if they're running the same set-up as you.
The critical info for fitment is clearance based on tire & wheel width, wheel offset, and overall diameter. Whether it's an 18", 19", or 20" wheel won't matter, just the overall diameter of the tire & wheel combo (of course the 20's will have less sidewall than 19's or 18's). Once you know what overall tire diameter will work with your width & offset, you can mathematically calculate the necessary 20" tire.

I'm planning on 20x8's with a +45mm offset. I'll probably run the 225/35R20's.
Thing is, if the sidewall's too tall, you won't be quite as low. Not really a big deal, especially if you're planning on running a lip kit or body kit of some sort.
You're not going to get all the way down unless you start cutting stuffs up.

I don't have experience with any Nitto tires...
But, I'd opt for the Neo Gen's. Mostly because they're not directional. You can rotate your tires regularly, thus increasing tire life.
