Default Sleek look can be a gamble....

So, I peeled it off my doors... as good as it looks without the black.... the burn through on the clear coat I found under neath took away any excitement I had.

Its on both front doors and I'm very disappointed that they cover their mistakes with removable tape rather than fixing it as they do any other areas that wouldn't be acceptable.

I've heard someone else had the same issue and it was repainted by warranty.

So, I'm going to the dealership with my fingers crossed!

First impression.... Honda Fit. Not into this tape removal thing, if you like it, it's your car/money so go crazy. I'd like to see someone with a white one and dark tint do it though, I'd get a good laugh out of it.

Does anyone know where I can purchase this tape vinyl stuff? I have a 1996 corolla with just plain old paint on the pillar and really like the flush look of my scion. Thanks.

You might wanna try emailing randode@randode.com or try randode.com

He can pretty much make vinyl for anything

Cool, thanks! I've been looking everwhere for this. A few months ago I spoke with the parts department at the dealship and they had no clue what I was talking about.

Hey I just saw that you were in Az...It would be easy for you just to drive out to Randy's house and he could cut the vinyl and install it right there...Just a thought...

I found this pic in the wheel and tire section. I don't know whose it is but people were wanting to see one in white.

I personally don't think it looks bad. Not sure why everybody's pants are gettin soiled but anywho.... I also think the orange one looks _____in.

Honda Fit? I don't think so! Not sure why you think by me removing the tape turns my car into a Fit look-a-like...If i'm not mistaken, the fit HAS window tape/vinyl!

The Fit's... release color or whatever you want to call it looks the same. The first time I saw a fit was the blue color and the orange one, so it looks like the Fit because taking that off shows more color, and the angle of the picture made it look like it.
