Default Gauging Interest: Headlamps with CCFL HALO/Projector/LEDs

I've been working with a manufacturer on LED tail lamps and projector headlamps. So far, he's released the Tundra 07+ tail lamps (Link to forum discussion: http://ibtohq.com/forum/f159/blacked...l-lights-1490/ ) with precision fit. Currently, we're working on an application for the xB2 (Link to forum discussion: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...r=asc&&start=0 ) and those will be available soon. Once he's done with those, he'll have an open slot for the next build.

I want to see if the xD owners (I REALLY want projectors for myself) may be interested for the next build. The manufacturer wanted to do xB2 headlamps, but I asked to wait so I can see if the xD community has any interest (since we're the only current Scion w/o factory projectors).

Design:
Blacked out inside with single projector (may investigate for dual projectors, h4 main connector to dual h11 connectors... maybe)
CCFL Halo around the projector(s)
Amber (legal) LEDs for turn signal/parking lamps
Possible LED strip across the bottom of the unit (turns on with parking lamps)

The retail price will likely land around $400-$450 for the pair.

Thoughts? Comments?

Sounds like a good idea, I'd totally buy em. I hate the shinyness of the stock headlights. Definitely would like a blacked out look with some halo lights.

would look great if it had led strips on the top of the unit and used with parking lights. it would give it a meaner look.
btw would the amber show much ? not a big fan on my bsp

sounds good as long as the projectors arent crappy like the aftermarket tC and the fit and finish is near OEM quality (no fogging).

I'd love 'em! I just don't wanna run into the ability to make my own set CHEAPER and better quality.

Weren't we supposed to get tail lights from the same people? Dont see the point in gauging interest when we weren't given anything last time :\

CCFL halo around the projector... not too crazy about it, but if all id have to do is snip some wires and add a switch to control them seperately, it'd be cool.

No to the LED light strip. Very good chance it would look tacky

For the reflectors, it is possible to have them be clear and still pass DOT, I've looked it up before.

I was just checking to see if anyone would be interested in LED tails. At that point, I was still on the first set w/ the manufacturer, and everything seemed to be getting pushed back and forth (including quality) so I became a bit irritated with him. Once he provided the first production piece, the quality was a lot better than first though, and everything was SAE/DOT compliant as he claimed.

Reasoning behind gauging interest on this project:
The xD does not have a projector head lamp like the rest of the Scion line. LED tail lamps do exist (though not exactly everyone's flavor). Headlamps (at least to me) seem more appealing as the stock tails do not look all too bad IMO.
