Well i just like the red cover with LED. . I hate the chrome, its to ricey .. . . reminds me of them civic. . . This is there product that they have produced. .

 

if you compare them both i would prefer the clear red with the LED. . . Anyone Agree?

alright guys, its been a month since this thread was started and almost a month since he last updated with any kind of idea...

Dude, we need some news or this is no longer credible. Like was stated before, we "gauged interest" on LED tails and saw nothing of that, regardless of the fact that there is ONE company that makes them.

 

Like many of the Gauging interest threads this has gone no where. 99.9% of the stuff they ask us about people want then they dont do them.

Interested! Could do w/o the halos, though. Question: This would be a whole unit, that just replaces the existing head lamp unit? I'm a noob with this stuff. How difficult is it to replace?

 

I know we could use new headlights and tails for the xD project... halo's would be sick!!!

If we are, thats a total shame. xD needs all the options it can get, having a few in the lights category would be outstanding.

 

I saw this get bumped and got really excited, what a friggin' let down Can't Scion at least give this as a TRD aftermarket option? They have them made already for the ist

Edit: went to www.toyota.jp and found out that the ist sells for $21k and the HID option is $500 so it'd be less than $400 as an option here :/

 

Yes they do make them, but they are not HID projectors, they are HID reflectors. Just like the Avalon and 2nd gen Prius, you can get HID as an option but they aren't projectors.

 

Still, that'd be awesome!! I'd buy them. Come on Toyota!
