Default xD headlight paintaganza!!!

My buddy has number 13 RS 1.0. Sick little car, that's for sure. I painted the headlights in my xB a couple weeks ago, he caught sand and had to have his done. So I did.
Less talk, more rock.

I was planning on doing a full on DIY, but I forgot my digicam in my car.

Wow you did a good job! Would you be able to remember all the steps you did to separate the headlamps to do a write-up?

Yea the iST headlights are different I like them so much more than ours

The iST headlights are pretty rad.

I don't have night shots of the LED tails. I'll try to get some pics if I see my buddy this weekend.

As far as a write up, there's already one. It's a pretty basic modification.

*sigh*
Since I can't say no to a girl...

A couple little tricks... Hmmm...

The amber reflector is all 1 piece and held on with 3 clips. The clip farthest back of the headlight is kind of a pain to mess with. The 2 other clips threw me off, too. The one is larger (the top one I believe), so I pried a little on the bottom. The bottom one popped out fairly easily, then the top one slid out with ease. The back one was still a little tricky. I pushed it up and down a little and it came out. No problems. I tried tinting the actual reflectors with some tinted clearbra film I had my buddy (foose801, hey bro!) scoop up for me. The stuff was rathe thick and cumbersome to work with, so I scrapped that idea. I painted the entire inside of the turn signal/reflector area black.
I think it turned out better than I expected.
Like has been previously stated, there's only 2 screws back there. So when resealing, make sure to push around the entire headlight while it's hot. There's no way you can use the screws to really squeeze it together.

Well, since the bulb is still fairly bright, it's still fully 100% visible. I'd suggest painting everything, especially with a dark car like yours.

Heck, most auto body paint stores sell body color in aersol. Go hit them up and paint your headlights body color! I've been trying to convince my friends with an xB, xD, and tC that are all NBM to paint them body color!

This Friday? You have my number, hit me up any time. I work at the 'Bucks tomorrow and I'm thinking about taking the night off from my full time job. It kind of depends if my LED shipment gets here...
But, yeah. I'm sure I can do it. Just let me know what you want.

Yeah, bro. It's cause your car's sick!

Tint them! It'll make them even cooler!

I don't know how TYC did such a good job on the xD's tails and kinda flopped on the xB2's... Don't get me wrong, I dig my tails. But I think these are a helluvalot cleaner.
