basically this is what i did. it cause me 28$ or less.
hook the little hole in the battery holder.\only problems is this intake is not carb approved "i think"
cause i dont get any sticker for this one.

i would love to see someone do a stock dyno then a dyno with this just to compare the power gains

I can't say it for 100% fact.. but IMHO I don't think it would automatically render it non-carb legal, but CA is a weird duck. Half the time I think they nitpick things like this because they don't have anything better to do with their time. I think it would most likely pass the actual emissions part of the over all emissions test. But might fail the visual inspection simply because they could see that it had been modified. In every state that I know of it's illegal to alter and/or remove any of the emissions control devices on a street legal vehicle driven on public roads/streets. What you did was minimal so I still think you've got a shot at it passing.

Question, when you install th intake, and remove the box it brings, the conpyter doesnt show any problm recongnizing the new intake?

I am going to try to throw this in and I let you guys know how it sounds/feels. Most of you have gone on to bigger and better things with your Injen intakes but just for ____s and giggles I will keep you guys posted.

Its not a bad set up. Though save 20-30 bucks on a spectre filter. Would of gotten the same results. Maybe a hp less
