I did get a hold of someone at Fujita and was told that they should be out of production and shipping by the end of the week. I also found out that www.fujitaonline.com (where I bought it from) is not actually part of Fujita (www.f5air.com). I was told to call back in the midle of the week and they would have more info at that time. So it looks like the wait is almost over.

rrr... well now i am in between a rock and a hard place, because if a miracle does happen, and TT releases the turbo kit for a decent price soon, then i wont need the intake, lol. oh well, i could probably find a buyer for the intake if need be.

So I plan on going with the CAI for my xD soon BUT I also want to put in fog lights in those small side vents on the front bumper.

Would having the filter right behind the fog light affect performance?

In the battle between CAI and fog lights, CAI wins. If it would be a problem and I still want to do both do you think mounting fog lights on the bottom center stock grill would be feasible? Also, would it look funny?

there is a fog light kit available from trdsparks.com to install factory-looking lights into those small side vents you speak of. the fog lights will not have any effect on the engines performance, if its heat you are worried about. youd probably get a bigger drop in performance from your alternator powering the lights.

well, got a hold of the actual fujita company, and they guy said he hopes to have them sent out in about a week and a half. he also said that fujitaonline.com has probably done a drop ship, so the intake should come straight from fujita to those who ordered and not from fujitaonline.com

I talked witht the guys at f5air and was told the the problem is that they are waiting on the actual filters. Once those come in they can ship the product but are not expecting them to be done for anothe 2 weeks.

Have you looked at the dyno on the Fujita? It looks kinda questionable.

Any updates on this? Has anyone actually received this intake? I was going to order but if they can't give any dates as to when to expect it I guess I will wait.

i ordered it, but wasnt charged because it was "back-ordered" about two days after i placed my order. this was back on like sept. 20th. about a week ago, my order disappeared from my account on the website, like it was never placed. i would recommend trying to order it somewhere else. fujitaonline.com hasnt answered the phone for weeks.

Ouch I would pursue this with Fujita, being an official distributor, they're giving a bad vibe for the manufacturer. If you stir things up with them it might get you a response Make sure u get some free swag for such a wait and poor customer service

I placed an order but then decided to cancel it. They quickly responded to an email but the phone just goes to voicemail. I don't see that anywhere else even shows this part available.
