This means dont be asking questions like "when is it coming out" or "how much is it going to cost"

Stay tuned everyone...
I'll try to wait patiently....

when are they coming out? do you know what the price will be? wanna build us an intake manifold too?

cant wait! are you guys planning to do the usual crank, waterpump, and alternator?

ALSO: here is a post i found on yarisworld to show you the possible gains we could be seeing:

Hey Guys

Finally Dyno tested my 1300cc Yaris to see what difference my mods have made ...

Here is what i have changed:

1.NST crank pulley
2.K&N drop in pan filter
3.Axel back D-spec exhaust

Ok here is the standard 1300cc power:

84.48 hp
121 nm

and her is my figures :

91.82 HP @ 5690 rpm
131 nm @3531 rpm

thats a 7.3 HP increase and 10 nm (7.37lbft) more on a standard engine with minor upgrades , not bad i recon , what you guys think?

I think im going later attempt to fit a Blitz supercharger from the 1500cc kit you guys have on my 1300cc , i recon it could work , i mean the Head on the 1300cc is also a 16 valve twincam VVT-i one , just the sub assembly is 1300cc , could work , what you guys recon?

what im noticing is that out of his three mods, two of them, the filter and axleback, are probably contributing hardly anything to his 7.3hp gain... so im concluding that just the crank pulley alone probably gave him at least 6 of that 7.3hp, on a 1.3L.

Mike, are you guys going to be making just the lite crank pulley, or are you going to make the 10% underdrive one?

+1, i would prefer a 10% underdrive than just a lite crank, dont plan on getting a supercharger anytime soon, lol.

No interest. Underdrive pulley's are snake oil. Lightened pulleys have some worth for high performance engines, but to add them to the xD is just financial and effort silliness.

Hey Buzzkillington any effort in MOD R&D to the XD at this point is a plus. If we can't generate some interest for the XD that companies like NST will grab ahold of, then future items that may be more 'logical' will never be developed. At this point we should just hope that enough interest will be generated just for them to look at the XD.

Just my two cents.

I hear you, but NST isn't doing us any favors with the knick knacks they currently manufacture.

last time i checked, this was an "interest" thread, not a "no interest" thread. funny how you consider underdrive pullies snake oil, yet you are interested in the measily 5hp k&n intake, considering it the "real deal"... let me guess, i get what i pay for?

I generally do consider intakes a waste of money, but folks can show me data which proves some improvement. You can't show me an independently conducted dyno which proves the same for a pulley. Even the NST site itself has a disclaimer about how controversial the pulley concept is.

Not trying to rain on your parade. I suppose if someone wants a pulley, someone is going to make one...

Please don't threadjack!

Hopefully we will see a 3 pulley kit with an 10% underdriven crank pulley.

if you dont want pullies, thats fine, you dont have to buy them - but dont be posting your disinterest in an interest thread, its hard enough as it is do get parts for the xD.
and if you want data that shows improvement:

http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4737

thats 45 pages of tons people who are happy with the improvement given by the NST pullies.

and as i already posted before, here is your independtly conducted dyno:

http://www.yarisworld.com/forums/sho...ghlight=1300cc

and if enough people support NST and their products, then maybe we will have even more parts made for us, like an intake manifold that dynatek never finished

Castrex, i talked to NST on AIM, they think they are planning to do an underdrive pulley, and an overdrive for the alternator if necessary... this obviously isnt set in stone, it is just and idea of what they want to go with. not sure about the waterpump.

there is no way that 7.3hp came from just the pan filter and axleback.

seriously man, if you dont think the pullies are any good, go post your beef with NST somewhere else.

And a few of the other "crappy" products that NST has developed, extensively tested, and brought to market for communities that have showed real support...

the xd isnt a sports car but we all still would like to mod it out as much as possable to make it fit our own style, even if its more power or looks. so phatblk dont rain on anyones parade and no one cares if YOU dont want a pully, esspecialy since 90% of us do or at least want more aftermarket support.
