NEW NST Group Buy: xD Crank Pulley

good idea there, cobalt. i never thought of moving the alt that way, i just gave mine taps with a soft rubber mallet. i couldnt get that lower bolt below the alt loose for the life of me to let the it move easier. i also had trouble getting that 140lb measurement on the bolt cause i couldnt get it to hold still... so i threw on the weak impact wrench rated at 250lb and dialed it down to run on about 70psi (90max) and tightened it that way.
ill have to see if i can get under there to measure the deflection of the belt again. i tried as best i could to get it like it was stock, and i didnt smell any burning or hear any squealing when i had all the accessories on and opened it up on a straightaway.
i am really noticing smoother shifting though, big time. i think i already blew the accurate mpg measurement though. filled up today and havent had below 2k except at red lights, lol. ill start taking it easy tomorrow and see what kind of difference it makes on this tank still.
