Is the factory Pansonic battery on my 08' xD maintenance free or does it have chambers you can fill with distilled water? The cold weather is really letting me know the battery is a bit tired. Just didn't want to replace it if it maybe just needs to be filled.

 

The battery on my 2012 appears to be "no maintenance" but I know little to nothing about batteries. So, I called a Scion dealers service dept., and they said all years of Scions XD's came with maintenance free batteries.

 

Its maintenence free.
