Default What to do with stock exhuast

I have the TRD exhaust on my car at the moment and the stock one is in the box the TRD one came in.

So... whats a good way to get rid of it? What have some of you done with yours?

Keep it for when you sell your car.

Not everyone likes noise.

Attic? Whats that? I plan on keeping my car until I run it in to the ground, it's totaled, or until I can afford a Subbie STI hatch lol.

psh. weak. only exhaust and tires? show them this and tell them to shhhh.

3 sets of wheels, 2 sets of tires, a bumper, and there's a stock midpipe somewhere down there.

haha you should see my garage.
I have bumpers, hoods, fenders, dashes, exhausts, engines, transmissions, wheels, tires, ALL kinds of stuff which are for various 70's/80's/90's Toyotas.

recycle...xD's haven't really been around long enough for someone to need a parted-out vehicle.. not many people have turbo'd them...and I think everyone's keeping their parts. my springs are still in my bedroom...

and by recycle i meant maybe you can take it back to the dealership and get some dough from it.

just a thought

They are doing crazy deals on Subbies right now. I heard 8-10k off x_X Only on the hatch. The new hatch doesn't float my boat though... The last gen hatch was awesome.

Sell the exhaust on Craigslist. Some body shops will buy a used exhaust in good condition instead of using a new one. It's not 100% guaranteed, but it's worth a shot til your dad ends up tossing it himself

I saw a new Subbie (not STI though) being leased for $179, 36mos with $1300 due at signing. That's cheaper than what I'm paying monthly for my car!

I've tried to get rid of the exhaust and that stupid chrome tip I got at United but no luck! Maybe a scrap yard..?

anywho...yeah it doesn't hurt to try the scrap yard. but try posting it on craigslist at a price youre happy with first before you accept the meager payment a scrapyard would give you
