Default Blu-Logic bluetooth for XD

After doing some reading about it, I just ordered the Blu-Logic bluetooth kit for the XD and found a good installation place here. Just wondering before it arrives, where does the microphone go on the XD? I know on the XB it goes in front of the gauges. Has anyone installed it in their XD yet?

.

You can probably put it anywhere you want. I got mines sitting on the rear view mirror for now. I will end up moving it and making it flush on the dash somewhere to make it look like it came with the car.

Well, the Blu-Logic system was successfully installed! Turns out the microphone goes on the right side wall of the dash (above the odometer). The sound quality is GREAT, and only one of my friends has said that he could tell I was on a speakerphone (I've thought he was going deaf for a while anyway). The whole system looks and feels stock, and the installer only took about an hour on it. I think any of you with any experience could do this yourself, but for me, it was $100 well spent. I ordered the part for $180 (Scion dealer wanted to charge me $244 PLUS labor). All in all, I'm very happy with this, and highly recommend it!

I have been using this speakerphone that I clip on to my visor since christmas, and it works amazing. When i ask people if it sounds like im on speakerphone, they are surprised because they said it sounds like im talking right into the mouthpiece of my phone, and the lady who talks on it has a british accent. You can change in between many languages, and there is a choice for English (US), and English (UK), maybe mine was just set wrong, but it makes me giggle a little bit.

I don't know what the permanent bluetooth system runs, and install if you can't do it yourself. But this clip on cost $100
