Default in dash navigation bypass 08 xD

looking for a how to for bypassing the navigation systems safety features. (i.e;iPOD controls while driving, entering new location in nav while driving, dvd while driving) Saw a few "how to's" on the internet, but they did not explain well enough. I want details, pics, walkthroughs. Any help?

hmm... this could be a software feature, and not a physical safety device that can be bypassed. ie, the car knows you are moving because of the gps, not because of a hardwire to your speedometer or something similair.

FYI - I have a write up on this similar to that of the XB, but our wire harness is different and our VSS wire is not yellow, it's purple - and yes, it runs perfectly after you "cut" the VSS wire, just drive it for a while...
