Which fuse to use
#22
It depends on the gauge, length, and material of the wire. Can you be specific? Also, there's wires that are specifically made to be like fuses called "fusible links" that let the metal itself melt but have the casing stay in tact - so those for the most part are hard to spot when they've melted
Edit: When in doubt use a thicker wire, just make sure to put a fuse in line to protect your electronics

Ic thanks how do i put a fuse in it? i just get a fuse holder and put the fuse in? also how do i run the wire from the battery to the inside of the car? ive heard of something called the firewall but idk where it is on a tc

ohh, Vtrain, you should look up some information first, before you do anything to the tC. (why are tC owners in the xD forum?!?!?!?!?!?!?!)
the firewall is literally a wall between your engine and your cabin designed to protect you against a fire, if the engine bay was to ignite on fire...
as for your inline fuse question, yes just get an inline fuse holder and connect your wires on each end of it, install the furs in it and you are good. BUT you want to make sure you have the correct fuse in the holder for your specific application before you try to run what ever it is your looking to run...

If you need to ask simple questions like this I'd highly advise against drilling into your firewall to run wiring. If you do find a hole that's already made make sure to put in a rubber boot/grommet In first so that the wire doesn't get cut into by the firewall. This is an in line fuse traditionally used in car wiring
You can run a positive wire from your battery and just ground whatever your electronic is to a clean metal body part.
